Circadian Environments
Spaces designed around human biology.
Healthy home and building assessments, grounded in medicine and engineering.
Book a conversationYour environment is part of your physiology.
Light · Air · Temperature · Sound · Water · Materials
The spaces we inhabit influence how we sleep, recover and function.
Circadian Environments brings together medicine, engineering and building science to create healthier places to live, work and stay.

How we work
What an assessment includesYou can’t address what you haven’t measured.
We are consultants. We assess the health of your space against your goals, whether that is better sleep, recovery and focus, or a healthier place for guests, residents and staff. Then we can work with you directly, your builders, architects, designers and trades to make the changes.
Goals
What you want the space to do for the people in it.
Measure or review
Instrument readings in existing spaces, or a review of plans for spaces not yet built.
Report
Findings and ranked recommendations, with the strength of evidence for each.
Implement
We brief and work alongside your builders, architects, designers and trades.
Re-measure
Readings after the work, so you know it made a difference.
Medicine × Engineering × Environment
Medicine and engineering, working together.
We started Circadian Environments to bring two disciplines to the same question. One of us reads the evidence on how environments affect health. The other measures what is actually happening in the building. Founded by two sisters with a shared mission, we are now a growing team with one aim: to make the places people live, work and stay measurably healthier.
